For this reason, the guide has become a reference point for enthusiasts and professionals in the world of wine, extra virgin olive oil, and grappa.
The evaluations are described using the tasting method of the Italian Sommelier Foundation, i.e. they are expressed in Bunches or Drops corresponding to score ranges from 2 to 5 bunches/drops:
- 4 bunches or 4 drops: wines and oils of great quality and outstanding value and their score range from 85 to 90 cents.
- 5 bunches or 5 drops: excellent wines and oils and their score range from 91 to 100 cents.
